Fun times

The children have done so well for our first 6 weeks of school.  They are more familiar with all our routines.  At recess we are beginning to find our new rhythms with the playground and it so great the Star Ferry has opened.  Also, at choice time I can see a cohesive group of children playing together so well.

Community Time

Grade 1 met in our community area today for a social gathering.  We enjoyed watching the teacher's introduce themselves and do silly walks.  We also enjoyed singing a song and doing the dance called I get Loose!

Math games

We enjoyed our first math games.  We had four parents who each led a game.  Each parent sat on a different table and led the game.  The children were in small groups and they rotated through all of the math games.  Thank you!

Snack Bunch

We enjoyed our first snack bunch.  We welcomed parents and kids into the community area.  First we sat together for snack time.  Then the children could read or play on the outside play area with the dragon on our floor.  It was great to use this community area and wonderful to see so many parents.  Please note you are always welcome, even if you have not signed-up on our sign-up genius.
