Thanksgiving Feast

What a feast!  Thank you parents for all your generous food donations, plates, napkins, etc!  Also we had Jeff and Sheetal helping serve the children their Thanksgiving Feast!  We sat in a circle in the classroom with our turkeys as table decorations.  Then we put a fire video on to warm us!  After we tried our pumpkin pies with cream.  I think most children enjoyed the pumpkin pie too.

Turkey hats!

It was great fun and tricky for the kids to make these turkey hats or table decorations.  There were no templates.  So we were designing, drawing and cutting wings, feet, beaks, wattles and tail feathers.  We helped each other.  The process was exciting, challenging and fun.  I hope you enjoy them as much at home on your Thanksgiving tables if you are having one.  Happy Thanksgiving!
