Taran

Taran bought the musical instrument, his guzheng, into class and shared some pieces of music.  He also answered our questions about it.  It was very beautiful.   We all loved the beautiful sound.  the instrument is called a 古箏 (gǔzhēng). 古 means “ancient”. 箏 means “zither”, so it is a character specific to this type of stringed instrument.

Math Games

Today we enjoyed our last math games.  The children played some of their favourite games including Uno, checkers, salute and make my design.

Country Presentations and "Living Museum"

They were so proud of their country presentations.  The living museum was just delightful.  It was great to see the children share their learning with such keen and eager adults!
