Fun with Fluency

The children are learning more about how to read with expression.  We were working on the pace and volume of our voice.  We did this by working with partners and using iPads.  One child read their book while their partners videoed them.  Then the child watched the video of themselves. They reflected on the volume level and speed of their reading.  I heard the children saying they read at 'the right speed', they needed to 'speak louder', or they needed to 'speak more slowly' etc.   Here are a few photos.
